Emergency locksmith
A locksmith emergency is nearly always the same thing: you cannot get into your home, or you cannot lock it. For emergencies I come by motorbike, and that is not a detail — in summer, in the old towns of Sitges or Vilanova, or on a street with nowhere to stop, a van loses more time looking for a space than doing the job.
How it works
- 1
You call
You explain what has happened and where you are calling from.
- 2
I tell you the price and the time
Before setting off. The time you get is the real one from your town, not a slogan.
- 3
I come
By motorbike if it is an emergency. With the van if what you describe means parts will be needed.
- 4
It gets sorted
And if something has to be replaced, you see it and you keep the part that came off.
What can change the price
The price above is what gets charged. These are the only reasons it could change, and you are always told before anything starts:
- Time of day: 11 in the morning does not cost the same as 4 in the morning
- Type of lock and the state it is in
- Whether replacement parts are needed
- Town and distance
Where it is covered
54 towns between Barcelona and Tarragona.
Frequently asked questions
How long will you take?
It depends on the town and the time. Each area page shows the real arrival time. No single round number gets promised for everywhere — that would be a lie.
Do you charge just for coming out?
You are told the price by phone before I set off, call-out included. There is no surprise charge on arrival.
Do you work through the night?
Emergencies are attended outside normal hours, at the corresponding rate, which you are told when you call.
I am a tourist and I do not speak Spanish. Is that a problem?
No. You can write in English on WhatsApp, send a photo of the door, and it gets sorted from there. Along this coast it is a normal week.
